Welcome to another installment of PTP Watch, wherein we explore the possibility that we have actually just witnessed the Pareto Tipping Point leading to mass awareness…
As I begin to type this, it’s now ‘Event Horizon + 36 hours.’ Much has been written about the assassination attempt on President Trump, including thoughtful takes urging calm from colleagues like

There’s no need for me to rehash what we already know about The Event…and speculation is mostly pointless when the investigating authorities are known liars.
Which brings me to the point of this article: was The Event in fact the much-anticipated ‘Discontinuity Event’ which precipitates the Pareto Tipping Point of mass cultural awakening?
Considering that I’ve been writing about the PTP for almost 9 MONTHS, I’m only now realizing that I have never addressed exactly HOW we will know the PTP when we see it — meaning, will it be OBVIOUS or not?
Although hope, a good thing, is never a strategy, I have been hoping all along for a resolution whereby we all wake one morning to find that the only content on every channel, station and online platform is the the Emergency Alert System — and this is NOT a test. To me, that would be an obvious Discontinuity Event signalling the PTP.

Despite this, neither the system nor its predecessors have ever been used in this manner. The ubiquity of news coverage in these situations, such as during the September 11 attacks, has been credited for making usage of the system unnecessary or redundant. In practice, it is used at a regional scale to distribute information regarding imminent threats to public safety, such as severe weather situations (including flash floods and tornadoes), AMBER Alerts, and other civil emergencies.
EAS is jointly coordinated by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). The EAS regulations and standards are governed by the Public Safety and Homeland Security Bureau of the FCC. What do I imagine would be the content of the EAS broadcast?

Wouldn’t that be neat and tidy? Unfortunately, we clearly don’t live in ‘the best of all possible worlds.’
So, let’s procede under the assumption that the PTP will not be obvious except in retrospect.

As you can see, none of the above have led to the PTP yet.

Now let’s look at some of the memes in question arising from The Event:
Blatant Legacy Media Bias
This may be one of the most important factors leading to mass awakening — make it obvious that the mainstream media is (and has been) lying to the citizenry. Make them state publicly that in order to ‘get Trump,’ it’s OK to lie.
Studies confirm that admitting one has been ‘played’ is among the hardest things for people to do. The small percentage of folks who still trust the media are ripe for a giant smack upside the head, and when trust is broken it’s very hard to repair.
Collateral Damage
Mr. Comperatore’s big sister Dawn said on Facebook that “the hatred for one man took the life of the one man we loved the most.”
“His wife and girls just lived through the unthinkable and unimaginable,” she wrote. “My baby brother just turned 50 and had so much life left to experience.
“Hatred has no limits and love has no bounds. Pray for my sister-in-law, nieces, my mother, sister, me and his nieces and nephews as this feels like a terrible nightmare, but we know it is our painful reality.”
This is another important whitepill vector — force the haters to witness the unintended consequences of their hate. Make them state publicly that in order to ‘get Trump,’ it’s OK if others get hurt or killed.
That would cause much alienation…basically telling your allies that you don’t care who the collateral damage is, even if it’s them.
It was an ‘Inside Job’
Immediately after The Event, the internet exploded with speculation that the security personnel (USSS and local LEOs) were somehow involved in ‘standing down’ in order to let the shooter operate unimpeded.
This is an area I choose not to explore further at this time, due to the so-called ‘72 hour rule’ for waiting to allow a preponderance of evidence to be made public. However, if it turned out to be true that the Deep State really did plan and execute a ‘hit’ on Trump, I can’t imagine a more effective trigger for an OBVIOUS PTP mass awakening event.
Here on a beautiful summer Monday afternoon, my observation from The Sofa is that the failed assassination of President Trump was not an obvious PTP.
However, what does it reveal if the Urban Micromanager Caste (in this case the ‘Deep State’) is so afraid of a second Trump Administration that they might resort to the ultimate taboo (murder) in order to remove the threat?
DESPERATION.
At this point they have painted themselves into a corner:
“It’s OK for us to betray everything we stand for to ‘get Trump,’ but we’ll only do it this one time for this one guy, and then never again. Honest. Pinky swear!”

Well it's been 72 hours, and it's safe to say that conversation you mentioned has grown a life of it's own. Makes you wonder what it will be safe to talk about next week?
I’m so delighted that you write about the Pareto distribution, especially in the context of the tipping point, Doc.
I first came across this concept via Dr. Jordan B Peterson. I remember thinking I had heard similar phrases that very nearly describe the PD all my life — in Bible studies, but never understood it in any concrete way until then.
Reading your take on this using actual examples is both enlightening and highly fascinating. Thank you!
