Whatever Happened To ‘Whistleblower Watch?’
Frankly, it’s unnecessary — WE ARE THE WHISTLEBLOWERS NOW!
Hello again Skepsis Nation, and welcome to another installment of Cheap Thoughts, grumpy sofa-based scribbles from a 19th Century Refugee, noticer and analyst.
I’m glad you still find My 2¢ helpful.
In my most recent post, way back on December 5:
…I wrote:
All that to say, welcome to the first post in the new Cheap Thoughts series — Whistleblower Watch, the successor to the PTP Watch - and in particular, to PTP Watch 5: Whistleblower Edition, which featured exposés of Boeing, BlackRock, the Obama-Biden administration, Fani Willis’ office, the City of San Francisco, NYPD, Facebook and more:
Pareto Tipping Point Watch #5
Hello again SkepsisNation, and welcome to another installment of Pareto Tipping Point Watch, an irregular stack o’ links and pithy commentary, based upon a concept I call the Pareto Tipping Point™ —
Starting next week, I will be aggregating links to articles demonstrating the power of whistleblowing - and presumably the increasing pace of such disclosures. Expect James O’Keefe and OMG to feature prominently.
Welp, in the almost four months since, and especially since January 20, I have seen the word ‘whistleblower’ in a headline nearly EVERY DANG DAY.
Thus, ‘my work here is done.’
The Legacy Media division of PopCultureLLC™ is now FORCED to cover the stories it formerly withheld from view, in it’s former role as ‘narrative gatekeeper.’
Take, for example, this gem that WaPo was [grudgingly] obliged to publish:
https://www.washingtonpost.com/investigations/2025/03/22/family-secrets-jfk-files-cia-assets/
The Trump administration’s release of more than 77,000 pages related to the 1963 assassination of President John F. Kennedy has thus far shed little new light on the killing. But the unmasking of many previously redacted names has revealed the identities of people who worked with the clandestine services, roles that in many cases were hidden for decades even from close family members…
“…shed little new light on the killing” - proving, of course, that the release was not about the JFK op, but always about blowing the IC’s cover.
And now, those unwitting “close family members” have become newly-minted ‘conspiracy theorists’ - the LAST thing the Deep State wanted. To borrow a now-famous quote:
I ended my last post by suggesting that many [most?] of us are potential whistleblowers:
I estimate that 75% of U.S. citizens have directly experienced government corruption, all the way down to psychopathic municipal building inspectors et. al. — including the perps responsible for the executions of P’nut and Fred.
If you count yourself amongst those wronged by bureaucratic overreach, your chance to speak-up without fear of retaliation is approaching.
Indeed! Here’s how to do just that:
The DOGE Caucus wants to hear from YOU! If you have an idea to help the DOGE do its job, please let us know! We’ve set up an email hotline where you can submit ideas at any time. Reach out to us at doge@mail.house.gov. PLEASE NOTE: The Congressional DOGE Caucus is separate from the DOGE Service, which operates through the Office of the President and is advised by Elon Musk. If you want to reach the DOGE Service, visit their website DOGE.gov or call the White House at (202)-456-1111 or (202)-456-1414.
So RIP Whistleblower Watch…we hardly knew ya’ 😃
But don’t worry — Cheap Thoughts will return soon enough, bringing you more grumpy scribbles from the 19th Century Sofa.
We must assume that no one in government or industry is telling the truth. Everything must be questioned even those things that have been sacrosanct for decades.
