I’m having fun reviewing the history of this Substack, and continue to be surprised by its growth. From just 17 subscribers when today’s restack was originally published, Cheap Thoughts has now shattered the glass ceiling of 200 — currently at 226 subs and over 1000 follows!

Thank you very much to new subscribers, and welcome. I’m gratified, since YOU are the first people to ever show interest in my Grumpy Scribbles. Please bear with me as I wander aimlessly amid the datastream.

Frankly, I’m not really cut out to be a content creator. I’m either punishing myself, or I’m dimly aware that this will somehow pay dividends down the road. Let’s see what happens!
