I have been following the career of Dr. Joseph Mercola for years, and he has become a personal hero. Nobody’s perfect, and I don’t agree with everything he says, but his relentless quest for the truth is inspiring.
One of the things I appreciate about Mercola is that when he changes his mind about a topic, he makes a big deal about admitting he was wrong and explaining why. I love that, and wish it was more common.
I learned two important concepts from Mercola’s article:
unintended cortisol overproduction is bad
some amino acids are pro-inflammatory, and so their dietary restriction is good
Also, exercise is not necessarily time consuming…sometimes less is more!
